The Adansi North District Chief Executive, Hon. Kusi Kwaku Eric in his speech at a grand durbar held at Fomena to climax series of activities undertaken in the month of October to Mark Breast Cancer Awareness, has encouraged women especially to exercise regularly and visit the health facility immediately they notice changes in their breast for medical attention in order to curb and reduce breast cancer infections.
The event which was organized by the Anglogold Ashanti, Obuasi Mines with the Adansi North District Assembly, AGA Mal, GIZ, Otumfuo Osei Tutu Foundation and Ghana Health Service as partners, treated participants with a Mini Clinic service where breast, Prostate and cervical examination including other tests were offered for free.
The Snr. Manager, Community Relations – Africa, Mr. Emmanuel Baidoo stated that this forms part of AGAs social corporate activities towards the society.
Barimansu Atnwi Kwaning II, Nana Amoanimaa Dede II, and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
