The District Chief Executive Hon. Kusi Kwaku Eric has handed over 100 mono desks procured by the Common Fund Secretariat to the District Education Directorate to help reduce the furniture challenges in the various schools within the District.
The DCE, admitted the chairs will not be enough to solve the furniture deficit, but hopes they will be put to good use.
The District Education Director, Alhaji Ibrahim Amankwaah, who received the desks on behalf of the schools, was thankful to the Hon. DCE for the furniture and asked for constant supply of furniture to replace damage ones.
