The Disease Control Officer from the Adansi North District Health Directorate, Franklin Ampofo, has revealed that, Tuberculosis (TB), a disease that affects the lungs and the human body has been identified as a health threat in the District and therefore urges people to report any suspected case to his outfit for immediate response and action.

The Officer gave these insights in a presentation he made at the Ist meeting of the District Risk Communication and Community Engagement Committee meeting for the year 2024, held at the Amoanimaa Dede II hall -Fomena, to sensitize committee members on TB so they can in turn, educate community members on the disease for easy detection and early treatment.
