‎The Adansi North District Assembly on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 organized a massive clean-up exercise at Kwapia.

‎The exercise was carried out in compliance with a directive from the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) and the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs to commemorate Ghana’s 66th Republic Day Anniversary.

‎​The District Assembly, led by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Charles Kofi Ogbeh, led by an example, working side-by-side with the Assembly Member of the electoral area, Hon. Awuku.

Again, Unit Committee members for the area, District Assembly Staff, other state institutions including; cadet corps of the three S. H. S in the district, prisons, the fire and ambulance services joined the community in the clean-up exercise.‎
‎Major drains, streets, bushy surroundings and other public spaces within Kwapia and its environs were left spotless after the exercise
