Presentation of six hundred (600) mono desks to basic schools
District Chief Executive (DCE) of Adansi North, Hon. Kusi Kwaku Eric on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023, presented six hundred (600) mono desks to basic schools in the District. Presenting the desks to the District Education Director, the DCE said, the dual desks were procured from the District Assembly Common Fund for onward distribution to schools that are in dire need of desks.
Consequent to this, he deemed it appropriate to hand them over to the District Education Director for a fair distribution.
Obuasi Mine Climate Resilient Oil Palm Project (CROPP)
On Friday, July 28, 2023, mining giant AngloGold Ashanti, Obuasi Mine distributed 30,000 oil palm seedlings to over 2,500 farmers across the Adansi enclave. This action is an intended first phase of the A. G. A – Obuasi Mine Climate Resilient Oil Palm Project (CROPP).
